Project Goals:
The goals of this project is to create a scuba diving site review portal which will allow contributors to post reviews about local dive sites. The site will charge a minimal membership fee to access dive site information and each dive site review page will be sponsored by outside sources. The site will have a complete Administrative control Panel which will allow the administrator to quickly add new dynamic site review pages as well as administer user and sponsor accounts.
Website Vision:
The website will consist of the following pages:
1. Landing page
2. Member Home Page
3. Contributor Home Page
4. Sponsor Home Page
5. Registration Page
6. Dive Site Review Pages (dynamic)
7. Dive Charter Pages (dynamic)
8. Dive Resort Pages (dynamic)
9. Dive Equipment Review Pages (dynamic)
10. Dive Retailer Review Pages (dynamic)
11. Administrative Control Page (ACP)
12. Site Statistics Page
The review pages will have streaming video, basic review information and a main detailed review section accessed and sorted by tabs. (Tabs will represent reviewed categories).
The site will need to be integrated into payment portals such as Paypal for membership and sponsor payments as well as payment of commissions to contributors. Site backend will have to be able to track sales (profits) as well as earned commissions (payments). Use of Google Maps is highly desirable for displaying the location of the dive sites using Google earth satellite maps. Possible need for AJAX development.
Site Backend:
The site will be run on an Apache Server using MySQL database.
Provider We Are Looking For:
Will have the ability to produce all site graphics and layout in-house as well as fully capable of programming the backend. When this is done, we expect a 100% turnkey site fully ready to go live.
